Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal KENNIES. L-ewwel sinjal isir biż-żewġ idejn li jiffurmaw ponn u jitqiegħdu waħda wara u iktar fl-għoli mill-oħra bħallikieku qed iżommu xi lasta. L-idejn jimbuttaw ’il barra qishom qed jikinsu.

It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, iż-żewġ idejn, bis-swaba’ magħluqin sal-għekiesi u l-pala tħares ’l isfel, iduru orizzontalment xi darbtejn. (ii) Imbagħad iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluqa. Id tieqaf bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u l-oħra, bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, timsaħ ħafif il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa mill-polz sal-ponot tas-swaba’.

There are two different signs for STREET SWEEPER. The first sign is made with the hands in the shape of fists. One hand is placed slightly above and behind the other as though holding a stick. The hands then push outwards as though engaged in sweeping.

The second sign has two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands with the fingers closed at the knuckles and the palms facing downwards. The hands rotate horizontally twice or more. (ii) The second part is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5. One hand is held stationary with palm facing upwards. The palm of the other hand faces downwards and the hand moves over the palm of the stationary hand lightly from the wrist to the fingertips as though wiping it.
